Amanda - Hospital Manager

Hi, I’m Amanda, the Practice Manager here at York Vet. I joined the YV team in 2018 as a Veterinary Technician, bringing with me a lifelong passion for animal care. I earned my Associate’s Degree in Health Science from York Technical College in 2006, and over the years, I’ve been fortunate to expand my experience—especially with exotic animals, which has become one of my favorite aspects of the field.

I’m committed to ongoing growth and education, and I actively participate in continuing education programs. I’m also a proud member of the Veterinary Hospital Management Association (VHMA) and the Vertical Vet Platinum Management Program.

Outside of work, I’ve been happily married to my husband, Mike, for 24 years. We have two wonderful adult children, Emily and Eli, and a house full of furry companions — including Jolene, my Cane Corso, Tony, my French Bulldog along with our two cats: Delmar & Pete. In my free time, I love hiking, camping, kayaking, and exploring new places through travel.
